10 Kinds of People Who Need to Be at Dream City Church This Weekend

This Sunday At Dream City!

Howdy Dream City! Pastor Z here!

I am sure you could come up with a million reasons NOT to come to church this weekend…

But let’s be real—it’s easy to get out to the habit of being in God’s house on Sunday…and what we just need is a little extra push!

So for this post I want to this easy for you.

If you fall into any of these categories, Dream City Church is exactly where you need to be this Sunday!

10 Kinds of People Who Need to Be at Dream City Church This Weekend

1. The “I’m Too Busy” Person

If your schedule is packed, your to-do list is never-ending, and life feels like a constant sprint—YOUneed to be in church.

Not because you have extra time (you don’t), but because you need the reset.

A moment in God’s presence can do more for your soul than an extra hour of sleep or another Starbucks run.(our service starts at 10:30 so you could STILL grab Starbucks on your way!)

2. The “I Haven’t Been in a While” Person

I get it. Life happens.

Maybe you’ve been out of town, working, or just fallen out of the habit.

But what if this is the Sunday where everything changes? You need to be here!

No guilt, no shame—just a fresh start waiting for you.

3. The “I Need a Win” Person

Feeling stuck? Beaten down? Like you just cannot catch a break?

This Sunday is for you.

Come get some encouragement, worship your way through the struggle, and let God remind you that He’s still got good plans for you.

4. The “My Family Needs Something Different” Person

If you’ve been searching for a place where your whole family can grow, Dream City is it. DC Kids is ready to invest in your little ones, and the main service will challenge and encourage you. I honestly believe we have the BEST kid’s ministry around!

Give your family something better than another lazy boring Sunday.

5. The “Skeptical but Curious” Person

Maybe you’ve got doubts!!!

Or…

Maybe church has burned you before….

Maybe you’re just not sure where you stand with God.

That’s okay. Come as you are, no pressure, no expectations—just a chance to see if this might be the place where things start making sense.

6. The “I Just Need Some People” Person

If you’ve been feeling lonely or disconnected, you need to be here.

We’re not meant to do life alone.

Church isn’t just a place to go; it’s a family to belong to.

You don’t have to have it all together—just show up, and let’s do life together.

7. The “Worship Is My Therapy” Person

Some people go for a run.

Some people binge Netflix.

But if there’s something about getting in God’s presence during worship that just hits different—then you already know.

Make sure you’re in the room this weekend!!! Bring someone with you!

8. The “I’m Waiting on God” Person

If you’re in a season of waiting…praying for a breakthrough, hoping for an answer, believing for a miracle—then don’t sit this one out.

Keep showing up.

Sometimes, the breakthrough happens in the room when you least expect it.

9. The “I Want to Be Part of Something Bigger” Person

Dream City isn’t just a church service—it’s a movement

If you’ve been longing for a place where your faith can grow, where your gifts can be used, and where you can be part of something bigger than yourself, this is it.

#-10. The “I Know Someone Who Needs This” Person

Maybe this list doesn’t describe you—but it describes someone you know.

Invite them. Bring them.

You never know how one Sunday could change everything for them.

Hebrews 10:25 reminds us “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

This verse captures the heart of why gathering together matters.

Church isn’t just about attendance—it’s about encouragement, community, and experiencing God TOGETHER!

We don’t show up just for ourselves—we show up for each other!

Whatever your reason, whatever your season, Dream City Church is the place to be this Sunday.

Let’s fill the room, bring our faith, and see what God does.

Who’s coming with you?
