Dream City Church began in the fall of 2023 in Pastor Zac and Cara’s living room, with a small group of people hungry for more of Jesus. What started as a handful of people quickly grew into over 100, and we knew God was doing something special.
As we outgrew the living room, we moved our gatherings to Resoft County Park, where God continued to bless us. It was there that we recognized the need for a strong children’s ministry, as so many families were attending. DC Kids was born out of a desire to create a fun and faith-filled space for the next generation to encounter Jesus.
From there, we began hosting Sunday services at Donna’s Legacy Event Center, where we found our footing as a church family. But God wasn’t done yet. As more people—many of them lost and searching for hope—began showing up, we transitioned to the KC Hall on Highway 6, where we had more space to grow. Every Sunday, a dedicated army of volunteers would load in, set up, and create an atmosphere where people could meet Jesus.
Then, in an incredible move of God’s provision, Helping Hands Childcare Center—an organization that had served the community for 40 years—donated their House Street location to Dream City Church. This building became our home, a testament to the faithfulness of Jesus and the generosity of a community that believes in what God is doing.
Dream City Church is more than a building; it’s a movement of people who believe that the best is yet to come.
We exist to see lives transformed, families restored, and our community changed by the power of Jesus.
From the living room to House Street, our journey has been marked by faith, obedience, and the relentless pursuit of the lost.
And we’re just getting started.
