Howdy everyone! Pastor Z here! This was supposed to be posted Sunday Night but I decided to take the past few days with Cara and the kids and put the work down. 

Reflecting on this past Sunday at Dream City Church…Wow! What a Sunday!

It REALLY feels like a dream come true….A wonderful, humbling dream filled with love, faith, and community. 

Here are some of the highlights from Sunday I want to celebrate!

1. Fourteen New Surrenders

There was so much joy in the room Sunday when we witnessed 14 people surrender their lives to Jesus! Each surrender marks a personal journey, a transformation, and a victory that only Jesus can bring. We are overjoyed at the courage of these individuals and are excited to support them as they take their next step. Would you pause here…and pray over each of these people and thank God for what he did? 

2. Great Attendance!

We had 103 attendees on Sunday. It's always wonderful to see our church community come together in worship and fellowship, and today was no different. The energy in the room was palpable, and the spirit was stirring. We are grateful for every person who took the time to join us. Our church is growing! Would you pause with me here and thank Jesus for drawing people to Dream City Church? 

3. First Time Guests

Today we had so many first-time guests. We always strive to make our church a welcoming and inclusive space for all, and it's days like these that remind us of the importance of our mission. We hope our first-time guests feel the warmth and love of our community and are encouraged to join us again. Would you pause here, and ask Jesus who you should invite to service this coming Sunday? Then, INVITE THEM?!

4. Our Dream Team of Volunteers

The backbone of every Sunday, our volunteers, showed up super early, ready to serve with great attitudes. Their commitment and dedication are truly inspiring. Their readiness to serve others is a testament to their faith and the spirit of our church community. Let’s pause here and thank Jesus for each of them. As you pray Ask this question…”Lord, where do you want ME to serve in my Church?” Now what’s stopping you?

5. A Day Filled with Excitement

Throughout the day, there was an air of excitement that was contagious. It was as if everyone could sense that something special was happening. This feeling of anticipation and joy made the day even more memorable. It's days like these that remind us how fulfilling it is to be part of such a vibrant community. Let’s praise God for a Church that’s ALIVE! Join me in praying and thanking God for His presence that's in the Room every week!

6. Room for Growth

One of the best problems to have as a church is not having enough room for more people. It's a clear indication of our growing community of faith. This growth is a testament to the welcoming, inclusive, and loving environment we strive to provide at Dream City Church. As we navigate what our Next Step is so that we can continue to provide excellent environments where all people experience the presence of Jesus?

7. Kids Church & Nursery

Our kid's church and nursery were bustling with activity on Sunday. It's always a joy to see our youngest members engage in worship, learn about faith, and form friendships. These spaces are vital for nurturing our young ones in faith and we are thrilled to see them thrive. Pray that Jesus would bless our kid’s ministry and that we would see this area of our Church continue to thrive! Let’s give thanks to our next generation!

Indeed, it was a humbling and wonderful day at Dream City Church. It was a day filled with faith, love, and community. 

I am so grateful for each moment and look forward to many more days like this.
