This Sunday at Dream City was MIND-BLOWING!

Howdy everyone! Pastor Z here, and I'M EXCITED to celebrate what Jesus did this Weekend at Dream City!

Today was absolutely phenomenal! The worship experience was beyond amazing! In all seriousness, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude!

This weekend demanded MORE from everyone involved. More time, more energy, more resources, and an immense amount of hard work!

The reason being, we had to set up and soundcheck our state-of-the-art sound system!

This is a monumental milestone for our church!

Additionally, we had to make adjustments in other areas and restructure certain aspects.

You see, at present, Dream City Church does not have our own building.

That means, EVERY WEEK we rent out a venue and have to arrive early on Sunday morning to meticulously set up our entire service.

From lights, sound, and media to organizing our nursery, DC Kid's Church, Welcome Center, parking lot, and more... Every single detail needs to be in place before our service begins, allowing ample time to address any unforeseen issues...

But this weekend, we needed something extra, and I am proud to share that our dedicated volunteers and ministry teams rose to the occasion! It would not have been possible without each and every individual who came forward and contributed to the setup!

That is why I want to extend my deepest gratitude!

I must say, the altar time during our worship today was absolutely breathtaking! The spirit of unity in the room and the sense of progress were truly remarkable!

We are growing week after week! Every Sunday takes us a step closer to what God has for us!

It's astonishing to think that less than six months ago, all we had were shattered hearts and a dream of "what if we persevered...?"

What if, instead of allowing obstacles to hinder and halt the incredible work Jesus has been doing, we embraced the challenges with resilience...

What if we rose above, brushed off the setbacks, and showed up with unwavering faith armed with our Bibles and worship songs...

Would people even come? Is this even possible? Starting a Church?

I vividly remember feeling defeated, contemplating quitting and walking away when we received threats and were told to abandon our plans of starting a church here...

I was ready to give up. But right in that moment, Jesus spoke to me, cutting through the pain and tears, and I distinctly heard Him say, "If you trust me, I will restore to you and your family a hundredfold of what you have lost..." Back then, I couldn't see it, and I wish I could say my faith never wavered and I stood firm like a mountain, but that wasn't the case.

I wanted to quit, but I will never forget what happened in our living room when around 85 people showed up for church the following Sunday.

People who were hungry for more.

People who didn't abandon us, but instead, they supported us and proclaimed that we were still their pastors.

What I'm trying to convey is that the hundredfold restoration Jesus promised us is tremendous... But that wasn't the reason we stayed here in Texas...

We stayed because firstly, we were called to this region, and no person or popularity contest can thwart that divine calling.

Secondly, we stayed for the people! They never gave up on us, they gave sacrificially, they loved us back to healing, and they have been with us every step of the way.

The reason behind everything we do is our love for people.

I am so grateful for the privilege of being your pastors. I LOVE Dream City Church!

Today, we kicked off our new series titled "The Relationship Series"!

From what I can already tell, this series is going to allow all of us to grow in our relationships !

We delved into the topic of marriage today! Our text was from Matthew 7:24-29, where Jesus shares a parable about the wise and foolish builders!

Jesus never promised a storm-free existence!

However, if we build our marriages on the solid foundation of His teachings, we will be able to withstand any storm that comes our way!

It is crucial to build our lives on a sturdy foundation, not on shifting sands!

The rock symbolizes love, kindness, selflessness, understanding, and guidance from the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, sand represents hatred, spitefulness, selfishness, a desire to change one another instead of understanding, and being guided by everything but the Holy Spirit!

I thoroughly enjoyed this message, and I am looking forward to the upcoming sessions in this series!

I cannot wait for next Sunday! I will be sharing insights about the origins of our relationships. Also I can't wait to share with you the revelation I have received from Jesus concerning Relationships and the END-TIMES!!!!

That's all I have for tonight!

This week is going to be an amazing week for you and me!

Jesus is going to open doors and bring forth blessing like never before!

I am praying for you Dream City! Let's shine BRIGHTER this week for Jesus!
